Even Jesus Asked Hard Questions

Hey Reader,

"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

Jesus' words on the cross echo through history as perhaps the most profound question ever asked.

This morning, I've been reflecting on the incredible truth that even Jesus, in His darkest hour, voiced His pain and questioned God.

If Jesus could ask such a hard, honest question in His suffering, doesn't that give us permission to bring our difficult questions to God?

I find it deeply comforting to know that questioning isn't faithlessness. It's part of an authentic relationship with our Creator.

This weekend, as we journey from Good Friday's anguish to Easter Sunday's triumph, I'm reminded that our prayers don't always need to be polished or perfect.

Sometimes they're messy, desperate, or even doubtful—and that's okay.

Wherever you find yourself this weekend - in wordless contemplation or joyful expression - know that you're held in grace.

So I read every major Bible translation of this...
